All bookings are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Quotation
- DMG Waste Management may often provide a quotation for services without needing a site visit by requesting photographs or descriptions of the waste or items to be removed.
- A binding contract is established between DMG Waste Management and you upon acceptance of the quotation, whether via phone, email, or other communication methods.
- DMG Waste Management reserves the right to adjust the quoted price if, at the time of the clearance, the actual volume or details of the waste differ from what was initially provided.
- If there are any additional 'chargeable' items to clear that were not disclosed at the time of the quotation, DMG Waste Management reserves the right to include these in the final invoice, and we will make every effort to inform you upon discovery.
2. Provision of Service
- We will strive to provide services on the agreed date and time; however, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative date as soon as reasonably possible.
- Adequate parking for vehicles must be arranged in a location that does not compromise the safety of our staff or the public.
- The customer is responsible for providing any additional information that may impact our ability to conduct a safe and efficient clearance.
- By accepting our quotation, you authorize DMG Waste Management to collect and dispose of the discussed waste or items.
- You indemnify DMG Waste Management from any additional costs or claims from third parties due to your lack of full authority for us to clear the waste or items.
- If we encounter dangerous substances or materials on the property (e.g., asbestos), DMG Waste Management reserves the right to terminate the clearance immediately and refuse further collections, and we will not be liable for any third-party expenses related to the removal of hazardous materials.
- It is your responsibility to ensure all sharp objects are stored safely. If this is not feasible, you must notify us of their presence and location.
3. Termination
- DMG Waste Management may terminate the contract at any time if the working environment poses risks to the safety of our employees.
4. Compliance
- Waste Transfer Notes and/or Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes will be provided after the completion of the clearance.
- The waste producer (customer) is responsible for retaining these documents for future reference.
- DMG Waste Management stores copies of completed Waste Transfer Notes and Consignment Notes electronically for a reasonable duration.
5. Pricing and Payment
- A 50% deposit is required from domestic customers at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the job.
- Commercial customers are expected to pay invoices according to the terms specified.
- In the event of non-payment, DMG Waste Management reserves the right to return collected waste to the producer without liability.
6. Cancellations and Charges
- DMG Waste Management reserves the right to withhold the 50% deposit if you decide to cancel your booking.
- All cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled clearance by emailing dmgwaste@gmail.com or calling 07939 150757.
7. Next Day Service
- Our next day service is subject to vehicle availability and will be provided on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
8. Privacy Notice
- DMG Waste Management will only use your personal information to provide the services agreed upon.
- No payment data is stored on our systems.
- Photographs or videos taken of the property/clearance may be used on social media platforms, our website, or other advertising channels. No personal or private information will be shared publicly.
- If you prefer that photographs or videos not be used, please inform us before work commences by emailing dmgwaste@gmail.com.
9. Subcontractors
- While DMG Waste Management engages subcontractors to perform certain services, all subcontractors remain independently responsible for their actions and performance. DMG Waste Management will ensure that subcontractors meet our standards in waste handling, disposal, and customer service. However, any liability arising from the actions or negligence of subcontractors shall remain with the subcontractors themselves.
- Subcontractors agree to indemnify and hold DMG Waste Management harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of their performance of services.
